Job Description:

Responsible for Japanese OEM market development by supporting PM, BD and Engineering functions with new and existing customers and/or projects.

Job Requirements:

Your Responsibilities:
• Supports functions of the Director of Business Development for Japanese OEMs.
• Developing middle and long-term strategic market plan
• Developing key account profiles and tactical plans
• Obtains customer feedback and maintains customer care during project run time
• Supplies input to PMT and strategy team with respect to marketing targets (markets, customers, products and competitors).
• Establishes, cultivates and expands positive customer relations.
• Achieves targeted guidelines for sales, orders received and planned contribution margin.
• Creates and submits offers according to guidelines.
• Supports functions of the Program Management for Japanese OEMs.
• Supports the PEI proposal process
• Develops synchronization of AVL and customer processes/expectations
• Managing the project initialization and planning with special attention to cross location project organization and interface with customer
• Ensures PM is well informed of customer satisfaction based on cost, timing, and deliverables.
• Customer Relationship Management during sales and project execution.
• Mediate project meetings.
• Supports functions of the Engineering for Japanese OEMs.
• Supports communication with customer to ensure VOC is understood
• Supports communication with AVL Japan
• Represents PEI in GAM meetings
• Maintains excellent relations with Japan KAMs
• Communicates PEI current and future programs
• Works to ensure the efficient exchange of information between PEI and AVL Japan
Your Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related
• MBA
• Ten years’ experience in related field
• Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
• Bending and Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
• Climbing Stairs: Ascending or descending stairs to gain access to a building or to move from one floor to another
• Light Carrying: Physically transporting items weighing less than 15 pounds from one location to another
• Moderate Carrying: items weighing 15 to 44 pounds
• Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm
