The Supply Chain Process Improvement team’s primary role consists of identifying opportunities to promote the delivery of safer, more effective products and treatments for our patients. We do this by reducing costs and improving the quality of BARD’s products through continuous improvement initiatives, applying Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles throughout BARD’s supply chain network. We balance both technical and business acumen and are solid business partners, actively sought by other functional groups throughout the company.
The Supply Chain Process Improvement team works with the business to establish benchmarks against which BARD’s processes will be measured and audited. These benchmarks must be quantifiable, attainable, and realistic and measured frequently to focus on improving the process. Furthermore, we measure success by engaging in multiple improvement initiatives simultaneously and executing them accordingly.
