The Position:


Applications are currently being accepted for Fiscal Services Manager in Fiscal Services within Business and Technology Services located at District Office. Hours are Monday thru Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department's needs.


Please note that an employee may be transferred to any site at the option of the Chancellor.


Major Responsibilities:




Desired Qualifications:


A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field AND at least five years of increasingly responsible, professional-level work experience, including two years of supervisory experience.


The following are preferred but not required:

Master’s degree and/or CPA, CMA or other professional fiscal related certification;

Four years of advanced technical training in accounting or a related field;

High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel including pivot tables; and PeopleSoft Accounting software experience is a plus.




Pay Information:


Range 16 ($7,498.38 – $11,993.49) per month based on the current Management Salary Schedule.


Initial salary placement is commensurate with related experience and promotional rules. The District offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package including employer paid: medical, dental, and vision plans; sick and vacation leave; and opportunities for professional development. Initial Salary Placement, Promoted or transferred employees will be placed as specified in the Management Employees Handbook. This position is FLSA Exempt and may not accrue overtime. A temporary probationary period will be applied to the employee entering this assignment.
