Position Purpose:
Provide timely technical support to the consumable supplies business by developing new supplies, testing and improving current supplies and assist with quality improvements in consumable supplies.
Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise

·Participate in product development
·Conduct performance evaluation of the card personalization supplies
·Conduct qualification testing of consumable supplies
·Conduct experiments and analyze data
·Conduct card durability testing
·Perform failure analysis for plastic card solutions
Leadership
30%
·Independently lead small projects involving development or continuation support
·Write technical reports
·Work with suppliers to develop and qualify consumable supplies
Basic Qualifications:
·Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Polymer Science
·3-5 years of experience in product development in one or more of the following: polymers, coatings, adhesives, inks, film coating/converting, laminations, UV curing industry
·Good written and verbal communication skills
·Strong technical performance in a fast paced environment, demonstrated capability managing multiple projects at the same time
·Demonstrated ability to work independently on problems of moderate scope.
·Proficient with MS products: Excel, Power Point, Outlook
·Ability to travel up to 25% - some international travel is expected
Preferred Qualifications:
·MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Polymer Science
·Experience in formulation of adhesives, coatings or inks
