Asked Questions - EMPLOYERS
Annual
Membership
Q.
Can we cancel membership at any time or do we have to give notice?
A.
You can cancel at any time. Just send us an email to jobs@hireveterans.com
to let us know. Once you cancel, your renewal for membership will be
deleted.
Q.
Do we have to subscribe for 12 months or can we try it for 1 month?
A.
We offer 12 months subscriptions. In order to take full advantage of
the unlimited job postings, we require that you sign up for a least
a 12 month membership. However, if you would like to try our service
and post 1 job, we do offer individual job postings. Click here to review

Job
Posting and Receiving Resumes
Q.
If I have a Featured or Standard 12 Month
Job Post Account and I fill the job, can I replace it with another job?
Yes,
all you have to do is login, click on the job post, and edit it. Change
all the information and click on SAVE. That's it. Now, if you delete
the post by accident, no worries, just click on SUPPORT
and send us a note. We wil re-enable your account as fast as we can.
Your account is active for 12 months. So that means, you can have a
job post on our site anytime during that 12 month period. It does NOT
have to always be the same job post. You can change, adjust or edit
it anytime. You're in control.
Q.
How do I know when a Job Seeker applies for a job?
When
a job prospect applies for your job from our web site, you will receive
an email with their name and contact info along with a link to their
resume. It is sent to you at the email registered on your account. After
you review their resume and info, just contact them directly to set
up an interview.
Q.
I received an email from jobs@hireveterans.com with the RESUME
INFO for a prospect. When I click on the link, I get the login page
for HireVeterans.com. How do I see and get the resume?
To
see and download the resume of a prospect, you must be logged in to
HireVeterans.com. Click on the link to the resume within the email and
when the login page comes up, enter your login email and password and
login. The resume will be the next page that shows up.
Q.
I want ALL APPLICANTS to go direct to our company web site and apply
there. I do NOT want to receive emails from applicants with their resumes.
How can I make this happen?
The
best way to do this within our system is to ALWAYS make sure that you
list your correct web site address within your PROFILE and on all job
posts. Also, since many JOBSEEKERS will apply directly from your job
posted and click on the APPLY ONLINE button, our system will automatically
send their RESUME info to your email on file.
So
you absolutely need to;
- Make
sure your email address on file is one that you only use for accepting
applicants from our system. We
suggest you create a NEW EMAIL address e.g hireveterans@yourcompany.com
or even use a new hotmail or yahoo address and make this NEW EMAIL
ADRESS your login.
- Then,
put in an email AUTORESPONDER so that the applicant, once they apply,
immediately gets an email from you that reads something like this:
Dear
Applicant,
Thank
you for your interest in working for The Boeing Company. To
formally apply for the job, please click to The
Boeing Company Job Application
Thank
You,
The Boeing Company
PS:
Please DO NOT reply to this email.
