Description The customer requires an Applications Developer to work with a small team delivering software services that will be used by many project across the organization, help define and implement standards and practices, and provide consulting to other projects.
The basic Applications Developer responsibilities include being part of a small development team defining, developing, and delivering core and common software services; being the primary developer on one or more software services projects; and consulting with customers, partners, and vendors to deliver the needed services.
Position Requirements Skills: BS in related field. Java, Javascript, HTML, XML. Windows XP and LINUX. Experience in software development life cycle.
Ability to translate requirements into end-to-end design for applications that involve multiple interfaces to other applications and supporting data repositories. Program troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Excellent communications and customer service skills.
Quick learner who can work independently. Ability to adjust to changing priorities. Ability to work in a team environment. Must be able to obtain a Security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI & Fullscope/Lifestyle Poly desired.
In-depth understanding of J2EE APIs, Java Swing, LINUX, Oracle, web services, SOA, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI. Object oriented design principles and UML modeling techniques. HTTPS, XML, Ant, Junit, and LDAP. Willingness to learn new tools like Palantir.
