Accredited Surety and Casualty Company, Inc. is committed to providing the resources necessary for veterans to become successful business owners. With assistance from Accredited, honorably discharged service members can establish and manage their own bail bond agencies, while providing a valuable service to the community at no cost to the taxpayer.
FLORIDA, OHIO AND PENNSYLVANNIA ARE MAIN TARGET STATES, BUT OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE IN ALL STATES except Illinois, Wisconsin, Kentucky and Oregon, which don't have bail.
Veterans who participate in this effort will receive:
****Tuition assistance: Accredited will cover the costs of bail agents’ licensing fees and courses
****Placement assistance: As a national insurance company specializing in this industry sector, Accredited knows which markets need additional bail agents and will help position new agents for success by placing veterans in strong bail markets
****Proprietary software: Accredited offers its agents – and only its agents – access to exclusive software. Complete with customized solutions for the bail industry, this software enables Accredited’s agents to manage and electronically store bail bond records, premiums and other business data
****Ongoing support and resources.
This is not a franchise opportunity. There are no franchise fees. This is an opportunity for you to become an independent business owner.

Highly skilled, trustworthy agents are the driving force behind Accredited, and we value our agents as partners!
Qualified applicants include those who:
* Meet all state-specific mandatory licensing requirements and complete all training required by state-specific Departments of Insurance.
* Received an honorable discharge from the military.
* Pass a criminal history and credit check.
* Have earned at least a high school diploma or GED. A college degree is not required, but may be helpful.
* Agree to write bail exclusively for Accredited for a set amount of time in exchange for placement assistance, training and support services. Final terms of the contract will be determined when the agent agreement is finalized.
* Meet minimum job requirements:
* Ability to write/complete bail forms and powers of attorney.
* Prompt and immediate delivery of bail bonds to jail/correctional facility.
* Monitor and supervise defendants out on bail. If necessary, facilitate the apprehension of defendants who fail to appear in court and return them to jail/correctional facility.
* Ability to collect collateral for a defendant's bail.
Note: Completing the licensing process does not guarantee a contract with Accredited Surety and Casualty Company, Inc.
