SIGINT Experience: A minimum of 8 years of direct experience with an intelligence community or signals intelligence activity with intercept collection.
General Experience:
· Ten years in a technical role in projects and programs for Government or Industry customers with:
· Five years experience as a Systems Engineer in programs that encompass system architecture, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation.
Strong knowledge in the following:
· System Engineering discipline
· Linux operating system
· Writing technical documentation for collection system efforts: Requirements documents, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), Management Plans, Configuration Management plans, Risk Management Plans, etc.
Significant experience in the following:
· Designing complex collection systems
· Integrating systems using Linux operating system
· Performing system validation and verification
· Performing tradeoff studies
· System performance analysis
· Ability to objectively assess architectural limitations or shortcomings in such areas as scaling, speed, and throughput
· Solid understanding of applicable commercial technologies, including hardware acceleration, and commercial best practices, as they relate to the specific demands of high-speed SIGINT processing.
· Work closely with the TU architecture team to fully define the detailed architecture, and extend the current implementation into the next level of processing speeds.
· Knowledge of the DODAF architecture model.
· General knowledge of XML and Weblogic messaging service.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in engineering, documenting, integrating and testing operational SIGINT systems. TU system engineers will be expected to take a very proactive role in getting the system that they help to design and document into a successful operational state.
