Job Description:

This role is responsible for teaching individuals and teams how to effectively execute processes and procedures as well as how to apply new technology to their work. Works closely with the customer to develop and present technical training, communication, and knowledge to employees. Evaluates effectiveness of training and provides recommendations for improvement. Supports other team members by providing insight and input for requirements, testing, process improvement, and quality assurance. Occasional travel may be required.

  • Create, conduct, and facilitate delivery of training to individuals and groups using various delivery methods such as one-on-one, classroom training, webinars, e-learning, etc., to accommodate adult learning styles
  • Understand and teach best practices for delivery of web-based training
  • Design and implement a train the trainer program
  • Conduct comprehensive needs analysis to ensure training fulfills customer needs and objectives
  • Design leader and participant guides, job aids, training curriculum, coursework, and exercises
  • Administer post-training exams and surveys
  • Report and track training activities
  • Understand business goals, processes, and roles to support testing of technology enhancements and to support process and workflow improvements
  • Maintain a solid understanding of technology used by the customer in order to deliver effective training
  • Assist in the documentation of business processes, process flows, requirements, use cases, reports, and other deliverables
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Demonstrated business acumen and teaching skills
  • Knowledge of call center or contact center environments preferred
  • Superior writing and presentation skills-
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Experience with e-learning tools such as Adobe Captivate and Lectora preferred
  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
  • Excellent critical-thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data and information to solve problems and articulate potential solutions
  • Ability to quickly learn new software applications and features
  • Ability to work independently as well as in groups
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization


  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline such as Technical Writing, Instructional Design, Adult Education and Training, Business Administration, Information Technology


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering classroom training, virtual training or other formal presentations
  • Minimum 1 year experience providing consulting services to the U.S. federal government preferred
