Job Description:

MicroHealth LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide support to our DHA customer at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. This position is responsible for effective provisioning, installation /configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. Ensuring core services are maintained at normal production levels with limited (or no) service interruption makes this position critical to our customer.


  • Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise level products and services, including hardware (servers, clients, ILO (Integrated Lights Out), firmware) and software (Microsoft AD, ACAS, SCCM, SCOM, DAR, WUG), used to support systems worldwide.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving assigned systems as related to server patches and configurations to include but not limited to, software issues and scheduled maintenance events.
  • Utilize IA tools to validate deployed security patches and solutions for proper installation and function.
  • When required, remotely access government equipment to resolve issues; if unable to resolve issue, escalate to Tier 3. Also, provides the de-escalation path back to the MTF or lower tier.
  • Monitor enterprise assets via SCOM, WUG and Dell Quest Suite of Tools, and other related applications. Ensure core services are maintained at normal production levels to include service interruptions.
  • Create and distribute Situational Reports (SITREP), After Action Reports (AAR), Information Papers and Executive Summary (EXSUM) documents for critical service outages and/or interruptions where necessary.
  • Document and update the Remedy environment to include information relevant to the incident and/or outage.
  • Provide weekly activity reports describing activities accomplished.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and written with customers, stakeholders, and technical specialists.
  • Effectively contribute to technical discussions and develop and present required briefing materials to ensure the customer’s needs are met in accordance with DoD, Army, MEDCOM, MHS, and DHA requirements.



Job Requirements:


  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 years of experience working with computers and troubleshooting user issues
  • 2 years of experience in troubleshooting hardware and software such as AD, ACAS, SCCM, SCOM, DAR, and WUG
  • Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high-quality environment
  • Good technical writing, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Must have excellent team skills and collaboration skills
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Required Certifications

  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification
  • Microsoft certification within 90 days
