Job Duties:

Scientific Professional must meet all requirements listed for the SP Level I and apply with the professional experience requirement increased to six years in one of the following scientific disciplines: Chemistry, Engineering, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Physics, or Toxicology. At least one year of experience must be working with analytical chemistry or hydrology data and interaction with an environmental database of similar complexity to ERPIMS. Alternatively, an employee can qualify for this category if he/she has served for at three years as Task Leader (5.8.1) on the ERPIMS Project. Substitution of experience in other life/physical sciences is allowable on a three for one basis.


Job Requirements:


  • Current/Active TS
  • Provide support as a Basic Staff Scientist in one of the following disciplines that will be determined at the Task Order level: Chemistry, Geology, Engineering, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Physics, Toxicology, or Biology.  Scientific experience in another applicable physical or life science can be substituted with concurrence of the COR.  With the full implementation of ERPTools/X in place, the majority of data provided by the SP shall be delivered via the ERPTools/X platform. The Electronic Data Loading staff shall process electronic files that are shipped to AFCEE.  Electronic data validation reports shall be sent as an attachment to memos sent to contractors after data is reviewed and processed. Initial data submissions shall be processed with an applicable validation report preferably within two (2) workdays, but no more than twenty (20) working days.


  • Electronic data received on a non-electronic format (e.g., hardcopy reports, data collection sheets, data entry worksheets, project logs, excel spreadsheets, xml files, database exports etc.) shall be entered manually using hardcopy files/reports as the primary input source. The SP shall track, review, prepare, process and validate data and prior to inserting this data in the production database, shall provide an evaluation of the data to the Government.  It is assumed that some database updates will be sent primarily in those formats.  These database updates shall at the discretion of the government be in ERPIMS format.  The SP shall be capable of processing manual data within eighty (80) working days (from time of submission receipt by the Contractor to delivery of evaluation letter to the Government).


  • Data review and data validation reporting prior to database insert of data will be a team effort using multiple staff skill levels. The number of records expected to be inserted per month is at least 400,000 records. The SP shall meet with the AFCEE Technical Program and Project Managers as required by the government.


  • The SP shall develop processing schedules and review operational status of schedules for accuracy, timely delivery of products and efficient utilization of resources and shall follow data processing operating instructions approved by the Government.


  • The SP shall design and perform detailed data query, data retrieval, and data interpretation functions necessary to support the analysis of data residing in ERPIMS. This support shall involve complex statistical procedures such as regression analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis and cluster analysis.  The SP shall manage the processing of information requests from ERPIMS customers and coordinate these reports with the Government.  SP shall perform the query, process the results and prepare the necessary letter of response to the respective ERPIMS customer.  Status of this support and any related metrics shall be included in a report that will be determined at the TO level.


  • SP shall implement a comprehensive QA/QC program and shall provide a QA/QC plan to the Government for approval as an attachment to the first ERPIMS Weekly Status Report of each Task Order. The SP shall provide an ongoing quality check of all data being entered into or currently contained in the ERPIMS database in accordance with Government defined guidelines such as the Data Loading Handbook, ERPTools/X User Guide, and/or a Government approved QA/QC plan.  SP shall enter, update and document all corrections necessary to the data currently in the ERPIMS database.  Any required reports will be determined at the TO level.  (TE-A)Skills: Ability to deal with difficult customers, Pleasant demeanor and knowledgeable telephone skills


This contract supports functions described in DoD 8570.01-M and AFMAN 33-285.  Unless waivered, personnel performing System Administrator, Information Assurance Officer, Information Assurance Manager, or any other IA duties must be appropriately certified IAW DoD 8570.01-M and AFMAN 33-285 prior to providing IA services IAW this contract
