Firefighting’s Finest Moving & Storage Inc. has always kept the highest of standards in customer service, technical moving expertise and personnel standards. As a prospective candidate seeking future employment with our moving service we must advise you of the rigorous standards we expect and enforce with all employees that work for our moving service. FFMS will never compromise the reputation of our company or valuable customers by employing any person who cannot meet our company standards. Below we have listed the basic requirements all candidates must meet or exceed in order to progress to the next stage in our employment process. Firefighting’s Finest Moving & Storage, INC. is looking for qualified individuals to fill roles with moving companies across D/FW and the State of Texas. Staff will assist with moving, packing and relocating customers in residential and commercial moves. Staff are expected to be available to work on Saturdays as well as at least 4 days during the week. No previous moving experience required.

All staff must pass a drug screen, clean shaven, no felonies, professional hair style/color and tattoos must be able to be covered up. Staff must have a valid DL and reliable transportation.

Job Requirements:

  1. Candidate must meet grooming standards per company directive - completely clean shaved facial hair. Only a mustache within acceptable size and order may be adorned.
  2. Hair length may not go beyond the level of the neck collar and all hair styles must always meet the best of taste and order. All abnormal hair colors and drastic hair styles are not acceptable.
  3. All male employees are not authorized to wear any facial or ear piercings at any time during operations with FFMS.
  4. All Tattoos regardless of message must be completely covered by authorized dry fit clothing articles per company standards.
  5. FFMS will not employ any person with any Felony Convictions in their criminal history. All prospective candidates will complete a criminal history background conducted by FFMS.
  6. All candidates must have their own mode of transportation to and from all FFMS work locations.
  7. All candidates must have a valid driver’s license 
  8. All candidates must have smart phone capability in order to receive all staffing and vital work communications.
  9. All candidates must have their own bank accounts or shared account for direct deposit from our payroll department.
  10. All candidates must meet the highest of standards in regard to work ethic, stamina, professionalism, and ability to learn fast in a very dynamic environment.
  11. Absolutely zero tolerance on any tobacco use of any nature during any operations for FFMS.
  12. Absolutely zero tolerance on all illegal drug consumption. All candidates must pass a clear 10 panel drug screen urinalysis.
  13. Candidate must be able to endure the high impact demands of the moving industry. Candidate must meet the physical and mental requirements necessary to successfully complete daily moving operations. Daily moving operations might include lifting, carrying, and relocating very heavy objects that require high levels of physical fitness and endurance by candidates.
