Job Description:

 

Reporting to the VP of HR, this position is primarily responsible for full life cycle recruitment activities for the business, from job requisition to hire and on boarding. The position will also support some generalist activities as a member of a collaborative HR team and will participate in employee relations, customer service, and HR projects.

  • Manage full cycle recruitment processes for a multi-state, multi-location organization
  • Evaluate current recruitment process and recommend improvement areas
  • Handle all recruitment activities, including but not limited to:
  • Work with managers to identify hiring needs and assist managers with writing job descriptions
  • Manage job requisition process
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements and using newsgroups and job sites.
  • Pro-active sourcing of candidates via multiple channels including social media
  • Resume screening, phone screening, interviewing, scheduling, reference checking and facilitating candidate selection
  • Effectively manage internal candidates and create process to pro-actively advertise positions internally
  • Create and manage employee referral program
  • Reduce the use of third party agencies; but manage the agency relationships we do use
  • Make and negotiate job offers, facilitate drug screening process
  • Enhance use of our internal applicant tracking system-expand use; conduct manager training
  • Train managers on interviewing skills
  • Manage HRIS on boarding process for new hires; monitor and ensure new hires complete all necessary requirements
  • Participate in the on-boarding new hire orientation process
  • Develop and enhance community and college relations programs
  • Other duties as assigned

 


 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of related full life cycle recruitment or applicable HR Generalist experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Exceptional judgment
  • Enthusiasm, sense of humor and team player
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with use of social media for sourcing
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization and customer orientation skills
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems; Ultimate Software experience a plus
