American Specialty Health, Inc. is seeking an Executive Assistant to Chairman of the Board/ CEO and Manager, Executive Support. The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Chairman/CEO to meet established goals of the organization.  To assist and support the Chairman/CEO to ensure his days run efficiently and productively.  Manages the Executive Office team so as to ensure the Executive Office runs as seamlessly as possible.  Represents ASH’s Executive Office throughout the company and within the community in a professional and positive manner.  Works with the Boards of Directors, executive/senior management and employees at all levels and does so in a respectful and friendly manner.  Leads corporate CAT team and other special projects as assigned.


• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. If equivalent experience, high school diploma required.


• Minimum five years’ experience providing administrative support to high level executive position.
• Experience managing and administering projects at a department and corporate level.
• Experience managing calendars and travel arrangements required.
• Proficient in MS Office with intermediate skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; with specific experience in word processing, Excel spreadsheets, desktop publishing, preparing presentations, database management, and creating forms.
• Valid California driver’s license with good driving record; and availability of automobile for on the job use and proof of insurance.
• Ability to manage direct reporting staff and cross-functional groups and work teams.
• Strong supervisory and group leadership skills.
• Strong editing and written communication skills.
• Flexibility with job assignments and changing priorities.
