Job Description:

Job Title: Rich Media Service Lead

Work Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Clearance: Active/current DoD TS+

Education: BS/BA/MS/MA/PhD; or HS Diploma or equivalent; number of years of experience in lieu of degree

Experience: 10 years

Certification: CVE or equivalent, IAT II

Schedule: If other than Monday Friday day shift

Travel: Occasional

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Specific Duties:

  • Monitors and responds to complex technical problems utilizing a variety of VTC, to include Polycom, Collaboration hardware and software testing tools and techniques
  • Provides primary interface with contractor support service groups or provides internal analysis and support to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance
  • May provide network server support
  • Requires extensive knowledge of PC/network communications hardware/software in a multi-protocol environment, and network management software
  • May function as lead job providing guidance and training for less experienced technicians.
  • Manage team of tier 1 & tier 2 VTC technicians including personnel evaluations, timecard tracking, and tasking of day-to-day duties.
  • Work with Vendors to evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the VTC infrastructure and Conference rooms.
  • Maintain on call duty phone to ensure Rich Media service coverage as required by contract
  • Manage ticket system queue to ensure all open requests are being completed according to contract requirements.

 

Job Requirements:

Skills:  

  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standard of customer service with outstanding written and oral communication
  • Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer.

 

Qualifications:

  • Active/current DoD TS+ clearance
  • Polycom CVE or equivalent, IAT II
  • Network Certification (Desired)
