Director of TRIO Student Support Services

The Director, TRIO, Student Support Services, (SSS) grant is responsible for the organization, implementation, evaluation, and analysis of the TRIO SSS grant. The Director provides academic leadership and works closely with the College community, Academic Affairs, Academic Support, Program Directors, Deans, Student Success Advisors and Faculty to assist at-risk and students with disabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the development and implementation of all aspects of the grant
• Oversee/participate in student selection process to assure eligibility requirements
• Coordinate project marketing/outreach throughout the College and community
• Write all required federal TRIO SSS reports
• Develop and implement assessment plan to drive continuous improvement
• Serve on various committees and work collaboratively with the college community
• Coordinate and oversee timely implementation of the SSS strategies to achieve goals
• Hire, supervise and evaluate program staff
• Administer and manage the TRIO SSS budget in compliance with funding
• Serve as Chair of the TRIO SSS Advisory Council

Required Qualifications: 

Master’s degree in Education, Higher Ed, Counseling or Related Field

Experience:

Five to seven (5-7) years of supervisory experience in higher education. Experience in programs focused on increasing student success and retention; particularly for SSS eligible populations. Proven knowledge of and/or experience with current issues faced by SSS eligible populations

Starting Salary:  Commensurate with experience
