ABOUT THIS POSITION
CAMO has an immediate opening for a Cyber Security Engineer on a very new and exciting unmanned system program. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Additionally, candidates should have experience in some of the following areas: applying systems engineering, cyber security engineering, and DoD Risk Management Framework to system definition, development, integration, verification, acquisition, sustainment, risk modeling and simulation, test and evaluation, and interoperability requirements. Knowledge of DevSecOps Software Factory concepts and application is optimal as well as demonstrated technical expertise in DoD research and acquisition, particularly for aircraft. Systems and network administration experience is also required. Certifications in CISSP or equivalent is desired.
The duties of the position are to provide technical guidance on the application of cyber security engineering, systems administration, and RMF requirements to aircraft systems development, systems integration labs, DevSecOps, and modeling and simulation activities. Provide expertise in vulnerability analysis, testing, risk mitigation, remediation, secure coding practices, trusted systems and networks, and secure architectures. Review, develop, and update systems engineering, systems administration, cyber security, and RMF documentation for a systems integration lab used for aircraft mission software development.
Candidates must have either a Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Additionally, travel within the continental US may be required.
