I. General Job Description

This position will be responsible for the day to day management and the entire process of risk mitigation, credit review and collections activities. The ideal candidate is familiar with accounting procedures and can manage daily financial transactions end-to-end.

Responsibilities

· Develop and administer credit and collection programs.

· Oversee investigation of credit risk in customers and monitor the collection of amounts due to the organization.

· Monitor billing production and outcomes daily and weekly by reviewing billing critical indicators in order to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition.

· Own the client experience from a billing perspective by disseminating qualitative and quantitative trends, and coordinating back-office teams in order to deliver invoices to the right place at the right time.

· Administrative functions related to Accounts Receivable.

· Maintain exception reports to track and inform branch personnel of delinquent accounts.

· Design and implement processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables.

· Resolve all issues related to collections.  Including account default, bankruptcy, repossession and re-marketing of equipment.

· Communicate fleet disputes to branch managers, and follow up to ensure disputes are resolved.

· Track fleet customers coming on and leaving PACCAR eportal, making updates to customer master as needed.

· Oversee and/or manage cash receipts via cash application into system.

· Approve payment to vendors applicable to the Credit and Collections Department.

· Continuously monitor costs associated to Credit and Collections and determine if and when changes are needed.

· Develop and implement policies and procedures, as appropriate.

· Ensure the timely collection of delinquent accounts.

· Place uncollectable accounts with third party and/or legal agencies.

· Approve assignment for repossession of delinquent, secured accounts in accordance with Company guidelines.

· Effectively communicate with customer base, branch personnel and senior management.

· Maintain exception reports to track and inform branch personnel of delinquent accounts. 

II. Minimum Job Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in a business application

· 5 years commercial credit and collection experience

· 3 years managerial experience

III. Desired Job Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

· Knowledge of commercial credit law

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

· Strong organization and communication skills

· Strong managerial and leadership abilities
