Proposal Manager

CAMO LLC has an immediate need for a Proposal Manager. This role is responsible for managing the entire in submittal process in coordination with the Business Development (BD) Lead and company executives. This includes implementing procedures to ensure quality and consistency of BD activities and developing reusable materials for proposals and client engagement activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support development of capture strategy/plan, to include conducting research; developing teaming agreements; identifying proposal resources, relevant past performance, and key personnel; and preparing white papers and capability documents.
  • Manage entire submittal process from bid/no bid decision to submittal, ensuring development of a compelling proposal or qualification package that meets client requirements.
  • Conduct thorough review of RFP requirements and/or other client documentation and create/manage submittal compliance matrix.
  • Develop submittal formats and templates in accordance with company branding.
  • Review and edit proposal sections, technical writing, presentations, briefings, white papers, and other BD documents.
  • Manage submittal logistics, to include proposal schedule and outline, proposal team meetings and follow-up, style and graphics conventions, and final quality checks/printing/delivery.
  • Perform document publishing and final submittal layout.
  • Develop and maintain reusable marketing material, to include project descriptions, proofs, and key personnel resumes.
  • Request and participate in customer debriefings; and prepare/distribute lessons learned summaries for management and proposal team.
  • Perform special projects and related work as required.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or technical discipline plus at least 2 years of experience in proposal development for Federal government procurements required).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have strong leadership skills with proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workflow to meet submittal deadlines.
  • Ability to edit, proofread, and format proposal and marketing materials with a strong attention to detail is required.
  • Experience in document formatting and layout (document publishing) is required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and some graphic design experience is desired.
    Familiarity with Shipley method is desired

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000-$120,000 per year
