Print Production Manager

SpeedPro Imaging San Diego is seeking a full-time Production Manager for its studio located in San Diego (Miramar). SpeedPro Imaging is the nation’s leader in high quality large format imagery including tradeshow displays/exhibits, window graphics, building wraps and vehicle wraps; SpeedPro takes visual fircommunications to the next level.

Responsibilities include:

• Operation of large format printing process, file preparation, mounting and laminating to finished product. (Including measuring, finishing and some installations)
• Ability to run printing machines and product finishing, 80% hands on production with limited design.
• Inspect customer files, provide digital proofs and make graphics print-ready.
• Experience with HP Latex 360, EFI Pro16h, Graphtec Plotter preferred.
• Experience with Adobe and Photo shop highly preferred.
• Efficient time management leading the printing and production of client orders.
• Inventory Management, Equipment Maintenance and any other duties as assigned.
• Unloading/unpacking, labeling and shipping deliveries to and from the studio.
• Performing site surveys and vehicle inspections for smaller graphic installations.
• Utilization of Corebridge software for estimates and quotes. (Training available)

The ideal applicant will have an existing proficiency in computer graphics and the experience and ability to quickly learn and operate large format production and finishing equipment. They will thrive in an entrepreneurial and production, time-oriented environment. They must be a team player, strong attention to detail, work ethic, and problem-solving skills. Organization skills are a must to ensure quick and efficient print production management. Must be motivated to learn and achieve in a small, fast-paced environment. Must have reliable transportation to our studio in San Diego.

Requirements:

• Degree in Graphic Arts or Design is a plus but not required
• Experience in large-format print production especially utilizing HP Latex 360, EFI Pro16h, Graphtec Plotter etc.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe (version 17 & 25)
• Effective communication skills with superior customer service.
• Must have excellent time management skills with a sense of urgency in product delivery and focus on quality.
• Strong organizational skills
• Cooperative team player who can accept constructive criticism.
• Must be able to begin work within 2 weeks of position offered.

Compensation based on experience $18- $25/hr. (commensurate with experience) plus performance bonuses. Benefits include Paid Holidays, Accrued PTO, , Direct Deposit, etc.
