Job Description

The Senior Installation Manager will have the primary duty of assisting the Installation Director with our Installation Department needs.


  • Supports and supervises the team (managers, supervisor and crews).

  • Support Installation Manager in managing the Installation crews by hiring, allocating work, training, setting and evaluating performance expectations, rewarding and recognizing excellent work, and recommending wage changes, promotions and transfers.

  • Oversees multiple projects daily from beginning to end in order to ensure the appropriate placement of crews and most efficient use of company resources. Ensures Installation teams have the trucks, tools, materials and information they need in order to start and finish their designated project on time with the appropriate amount of resources.

  • Visits job sites to recognize and/or redirect staff behaviors, encourage continuous improvement, and find ways to gain efficiencies and more effective installation methods. Ensures that jobs are installed and completed according to quality standards, safety standards, and job specifications.

  • Make suggestions to the Installation Director and implement any approved changes accordingly. Conduct training as needed..

  • Regular, reliable on-site attendance.

  • Maintains proficiency as needed by attending approved, relevant training, reading job-related materials and meeting with others in the area of responsibility.

  • Build trusting relationships by working cohesively with various departments and managers responding with a sense of urgency to Installation related and general inquiries from managers and customers.

  • Provide remarkable experiences to our internal and external customers.

Job Requirements


  • Knowledge of construction or related principles and practices.

  • Ability to communicate to team members job generalities and specifics.

  • Ability to motivate, guide and direct others to produce expected outcomes.

  • Skill in operating a personal computer and programs such as Microsoft Office, company CRM and other business software as required.

  • Skill in logic and math.

  • Ability to interpret complex information or instructions into understandable job specifications, measurements, instructions and standards.

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing teams in construction/trades:

  • A combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
