Technician - Equipment Restoration

The work you’ll do as the Technician in our AREPA restoration group will support delivering excellent project results and stellar client experience. This role will require extensive people, communication, and organizational skills, and the ability to continuously prioritize multiple projects

Primary Duties

• Perform restoration work of equipment including disassembly, tagging parts, cleaning, rising, drying, re-assembly, testing and delivery of work goods
• Maintain the highest standards in job performance, quality control, adherence to procedures, etc.
• Perform quality testing on the work of others
• Interact with the client, giving status reports, and develop trusting professional relationships
• Maintain quality control standards as set by the company.
• Packing, shipping, and unpacking of equipment, tools, chemicals and safety equipment 
• Repair and maintain tools and equipment necessary to the position
• Over-see and maintain restoration facility warehouse in good order

Requirements

• Ability to travel 75% of the time is required
• 3+ years’ practical experience in service/repair or refurbishing, of electronics, or electromechanical equipment
• Experience in troubleshooting or maintenance of equipment
• Associates degree in a technical discipline is preferred
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces as needed
• Organized with the ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to interact socially and at mixed engagements with clients
