OUR CUSTOMER:
The Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AOUSC), Department of Technology (DTS) Information Technology Security Office (ITSO) provides IT security support services to court units (courts) and National Program Offices (NPOs) within the Federal Judiciary (Judiciary) and manages the Judiciary Information Technology Security Program (Program) in collaboration with local court units and NPOs. Court units primarily consist of Federal Appellate Courts, District Courts, Bankruptcy Courts, Probation Offices, and Pretrial Services Offices located across the United States and the U.S. Territories
POSITION DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD
The Senior SharePoint Administrator will ensure the ITSO SharePoint architecture (including supporting hubs, site collections, sites, and subsites) effectively support ITSO business needs.
- Support ITSO SharePoint sites and applications Operations & Maintenance (O&M). Support shall include site configuration and maintenance activities, shall also include system administration activities including, but not limited to, user account maintenance and system health monitoring and troubleshooting in successful coordination with government employees and other Contractors responsible for interfaces and infrastructure performance
- O&M support shall include ongoing data migration needs and shall include troubleshooting all production issues with ITSO SharePoint sites and applications to resolution/remediation
- Support enterprise-wide information and database management, quality assurance, change management, computer security, and development and enhancement of standards and procedures
- Assist in field and program management, post implementation reviews, and project status and systems development/implementation assessments, as needed
- Perform adaptive maintenance to upgrade, convert or enhance the sites to adapt to changes in the requirements or the processing environment including, but not be limited to, upgrades or conversions of current content and functionality to adapt to enhancements made to the system
- Create, update and deliver documentation for all SharePoint initiatives, as well as best practice recommendations. These documents shall consist of technical manuals, user guides, and/or operational guides, as applicable to current phase of the contract and defined by the Administration Office (AO)
- Produce and update all additional documentation as requested by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR)
- Perform the following system design activities throughout the lifecycle and life of the system:
1. Provide problem analysis and resolution. Strategic Communications Services
2. Provide technical assistance to the end users.
3. Perform site migration and conversion activities that include the transition of existing SharePoint sites and applications from one environment to another.
4. Create new pages/sites and perform modifications or make additions to the ITSO SharePoint environment to support changes to the organization or its reporting requirements, site/page requirements, data edits, etc.
5. Develop and maintain user-friendly sites and pages consistent with organizational governance.
6. Respond in a timely and professional manner to ITSO’s SharePoint mailbox for new SharePoint requests and reporting of problems.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 7 years of SharePoint development, administration, and management
- 5 years of Knowledge Management experience
- 5 years of experience with migrating from SharePoint 2013 to SPO
- 5 years of experience with developing and documenting process workflows
- 5 years of experience editing technical writing products
- 5 years of experience communicating to diverse audiences (written and verbally)
- 5 years of experience providing written documentation of processes
