Job Description

Responsibilities;
1. Support head of Sales and Bidding by providing necessary information by completing takeoffs and
pricing based on the Aerial Standards.
a. A critical component is to, identify early in the bidding process, any items shown on the
drawings that are not standard to Multifamily dwellings and provide feedback, breakouts,
and/or VE options to re-align cost.
b. The ability to accurately perform the following calculations; Multifamily Service, Single Family
Service, Motor/HVAC Loads, and apply Voltage Drop to these Feeders.
c. Support junior Estimators with training in the Aerial Standards, Historical Data, Blue Beam,
AerPro (Bid/BOP), McCormack, and electrical standards
d. Review the scope of work and/or contract and identify any discrepancies from the bid
qualifications as needed.
2. Provide complete the BOP process for every project.
a. The Primary focus is to ensure all contractual agreements are included in the BOP budget; also,
excluded items are clearly defined and not included in the takeoff.
b. Complete the takeoff of all remaining items not captured in the Bid.
c. Review the takeoff counts and measurements to verify the AerPro (Bid/BOP) worksheets will
capture all of the takeoff data for each scope and each estimator.
d. Verify the counts and measurements in the takeoff match the data shown in the Bid/BOP
worksheet.
e. Complete each scope by reviewing the wiring methods necessary for each scope and applying
the proper Aerial standards to the installation.
f. Present every scope of the BOP, in detail, to the PM and Supervisor for review of takeoff per
Bid.
g. Revision are made to the BOP based on the feedback for the final BOP.
h. Any non-standard requests by the PM and Supervisors are to be analized first, then presented
for review and decision.
3. Cost Analysis to identify the most cost effective methods of installation and layout.
4. Maintenance of the McCormick bidding software includes; pricing, labor rates, assemblies, formulas,
and training.
5. Blue Beam management of the takeoff tools, Bid/BOP integration through Google Sheets, and future
opportunities for efficiency and accuracy.
6. Provide support of PMs in producing/Managing the CCR process for consistency and accuracy, as well
as perform CCRs.
7. Maintain detailed backups of files.
8. Monitor Pricing of the database in AerPro and McCormack.
9. The goal is to maintain a perfectly minimal code compliant system.
