What You’ll Do

IronArch is currently looking for a Financial Program Manager to join our team in Washington, DC (with some remote work) - Top Secret/SCI 

The Program Manager will be responsible for establishing effective working relationships with customers, business partners, and employees.  They will also consistently engage in open, direct, candid, constructive and regular exchanges of information between team members and the customer.

  • Act as the government’s single point of contact and manage all aspects of contract performance, including timeliness, quality, financial performance, and contract compliance. 
  • Provide oversight of performance, managing or directing work of multiple workgroups in a manner that effectively delivers results to the government.
  • Assist in the assessment of performing internal control assessments over operations, financial management, Federal financial management systems requirements, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations across all material programs.
  • Provide recommendations development of standard operating procedures and re-engineered processes to improve efficiencies and internal controls.
  • Make well-founded and defensible positions, by considering alternative courses of action and choosing the most beneficial options to the government, when faced with complex problems. 
  • With input deliver measurable outcomes that advance DHS internal control goals and direction. Consistently respond to government questions within expected timeframes.
  • Consistently provide insightful responses to government requests in a timely manner to ensure the delivery of the highest quality products. 
  • Communicate openly and constructively with engagement team members and the government.
  • Anticipate and effectively solve unusual or complex problems by thoroughly analyzing their root causes and recognizing key casual connections that others might miss. 
  • Independently define measurable outcomes that advance the customer’s internal controls and direction.
  • Consistently provide insightful responses to government requests in a timely manner to ensure the delivery of the highest quality products.

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science or Arts Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or applicable related field or Certified Public Accountant. 
  • Must possess demonstrated subject matter work expertise of 6 or more years in internal control matters.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading teams in the delivery of consulting engagements with government customers. 
  • Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain a DHS Top Secret with SCI access.

Preferred Requirements

  • Preferred (but not required) that the individual be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or have Masters of Business Administration Degree (MBA).
