DevOps Engineer (Secret) – 100% Fully Remote
The Army Corps of Engineers – Revolutionary Information Technology Services (RITS) program, provides a modern and secure enterprise-wide IT support services to approximately 37,000 USACE customers located throughout the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS).
Primary Responsibilities:
As a DevOps Engineer on our team, you will use your development experience to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll lead efforts to incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tasks. You’ll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to build modern-day cloud and DevOps processes to manage change and instill discipline. You will establish configuration management and release management for control and disciplined way to roll back change.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree and 8+ years of experience
- 5+ years of experience with DevOps from a Administration and Operations process
- Experience with CI/CD and configuration management
- Experience with supporting the full software development life cycle, including development, deployment, testing and monitoring
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency and ease
- Possess proficient analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Able to think logically and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Active Secret Clearance
