We are seeking new talent to join our professional Business Intelligence Group!

Northern Safety & Industrial (NSI), a member of the Würth Group, is a national distributor of top-quality safety and industrial supplies. We are searching for a full-time Digital Marketing Analyst to work in our Business Intelligence Group at either our NSI Corporate Headquarters in Frankfort, NY or at one of our many locations.

The Digital Marketing Analyst defines and implements measurement strategies, produces meaningful marketing KPI dashboards and delivers monthly, cross-channel performance reports with actionable insight for all marketing campaigns. The role will also involve conducting conversion optimization analysis for campaigns and company website, with the aim of improving efficiency and collaborating with internal teams to assure the successful completion of digital marketing campaigns.

Expectations of the Role:

  • Collaborates as part of the Sales and Marketing Team to identify the objectives of new and existing digital marketing strategies and advises on suitable testing and measurement strategies; benchmarks performance across all online channels and advises on KPIs.
  • Assists in the development of the digital circulation plan and identifies target audiences for all Digital Marketing campaigns.
  • Develops the analytic framework needed for analysis of all digital marketing activities.
  • Develops digital marketing channel dashboard and gathers data from multiple campaign sources (Google Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, Social Media etc…).
  • Delivers regular reports on dashboard key metrics, analyzes and interprets trends, and provides actionable insights.
  • Analyzes the effect of different online and offline channels on each other; develops and implements innovative strategies for improvement and growth.
  • Analyzes online user behavior, conversion data and customer journeys, funnels analysis and multi-channel attribution.
  • Performs ROI analysis to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of different marketing campaigns.
  • Performs ad-hoc analytics and conversion optimization analysis to influence conversion optimization strategies with solid analytical data.
  • Coordinates Digital Marketing Analytics business process changes to make any system, data or tagging changes necessary to successfully execute and report on any new digital marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborates with Advertising Traffic and Production to ensure all work production deadlines are met, invoices are processed and budget is updated.
  • Setups and executes marketing campaigns utilizing various technology, such as: SAP, Web Admin List Generator, Acoustic, Google, Microsoft Ads, and  NextRoll.
  • Keeps abreast of trends in digital marketing, and marketing analytics technology to build skill set.

Skills and Experience we like to see:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an analytical area (i.e. Marketing Analytics, Mathematics, Finance, Data Science, etc.); Experience in working within a marketing/business intelligence environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience in an analytical area.
  • Experienced working with analytical software (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
  • Experienced in data analysis techniques and advanced Excel; data visualization and Power BI and working with Paid Search (Google and Microsoft Ads), Google Search Console, Email Software, Remarketing and Social Media.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producing reports and presentations.
  • Skilled in identifying and validating strategic and tactical marketing objectives.
  • Knowledgeable in measuring and analyzing online marketing campaigns including: organic and paid search, email, display and social media.
  • Experienced in working with website optimization tools for A/B and multivariate testing such as Hot Jar, Optimizely, Google Console.
  • The chosen candidate must be enthusiastic, self- motivated, meticulous to attention to detail, highly organized, innovative, have the ability to lead, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a logical approach to problem solving.
