Global Newborn Health Program Specialist

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the nation’s leading advocacy organization for children’s healthcare, is seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage and implement activities to support the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation “Bringing Immediate Kangaroo Mother Care to Life for Healthcare Professionals” project and other assigned global newborn health projects. Reporting to the Manager, Global Health Education at our Chicago suburb headquarters in Itasca, IL, this role will work remotely until March 25, 2022, with a hybrid re-entry plan. All AAP employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19; requests for a medical or religious accommodation regarding this vaccination can be submitted for consideration upon an offer of employment.
