Position: Coordinator of International Students & Global Opportunities
The Coordinator reports directly to the Associate Provost for Academic Innovation, Online Education and Global Opportunities. The Coordinator is responsible the for the retention of all international students. Additionally, the Coordinator will serve as the Principle designated school official for the Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). As such, the Coordinator will work with the Admissions office, which will oversee the recruitment and admission of international students, to issue necessary documents, make necessary reports, and ensure compliance with Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) policy and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Engaging in dual measurable outcome-based Online and In Person recruitment activities.
Engaging in International Student retention activities
Production of periodic and annual progress report on International Student Recruitment efforts
Serving as a liaison to various departments, constituents and student organizations to meet the
needs of international students
Serves as Campus PDSO
Maintain International student data (SEVIS reporting etc.)
Supports faculty on Study Abroad and Virtual exchange programs
Facilitates advising sessions for students and information sessions
Attends conferences to perpetuate international programs and recruitment.
Perform other job duties as assigned
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree. High level technical proficiency in lieu of degree. Two to four years of higher education experience in marketing/recruitment of international students. One to two years SEVIS reporting experience.
Starting Salary: Commensurate education and experience
