The Mobile Diesel Technician will work for our fully equipped mobile service truck. The position will be responsible for all types of commercial trucks. The Mobile Service Technician is responsible for the diagnosis and repair of all vehicles and equipment serviced by the company's facilities. Technicians are expected to perform with the highest degree of professional competence, as it relates to quality of work, product knowledge, and customer service.

Minimum Job Qualifications

18 years of age

4 years of dealer experience as a diesel technician

Valid Commercial Driver’s License and a qualified MVR abstract

Minimum tool requirements for job responsibilities

Desired Job Qualifications

High school graduate, GED, or one year work experience

Ability to Perform Vehicle Lubrication Systems and D.O.T. Safety Inspections

Able to work independently

Great customer service skills

Available 24x7

Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions


Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on short-term basis (longer than one month)

Reasoning and Decision Making

Ability to make decisions which have moderate impact on immediate work unit


Ability to communicate with individuals utilizing a telephone; requires ability to hear and speak effectively on phone


Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret numerical data for reporting purposes

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme heat and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions. The noise level is normally loud.
