Position: EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM DIRECTOR
The EOP Program Director manages day-to-day activities and coordinates the overall project implementation, designed to increase new student enrollment (recruitment), retention, and completion. Within the management of the project, the Director oversees project staff and maintains frequent communication with those who may report to other administrators but who are responsible for the delivery of critical services and/or activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, budget/fiscal management, and implement & assess activities & program development undertaken by EOP, including academic support & tutoring
Supervise all EOP staff and work with faculty and students in order to achieve program goals, learning outcomes, and EOP performance-based outcomes
Collaborate with Enrollment Management & Student Affairs offices to support the outreach, recruitment, financial aid packaging, admission, and registration of students
Monitor/document student progress re: retention, time to degree, and graduation rate
Prepare data reports for internal and external distribution
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Masters Degree in Educational Administration & Leadership, Student Affairs or related field. High level technical proficiency training and experience in lieu of degree. Five to seven (5-7) years job related experience.
