Reports to: Senior Property Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities
Heavy involvement in property tax payment-scheduling and accruals
Assist with preparation and evaluation of budgets and forecasts for property taxes
Assist in preparing documentation related to acquisition transactions
Prepare annual business personal property filings
Navigate state, city and municipal government requirements to obtain business licenses (duty may be temporary)
Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual sales & use tax filings
Perform various general ledger accounting tasks
Develop, document and post journal entries
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
Support analysis of financial statement accounts
Assist Senior Accountants in preparing recurring and ad hoc management reports
Support policies, procedures and internal controls which are in place to protect company assets and ensure financial statement accuracy
Other projects to support management, including income tax accruals and filings
Four-year degree in accounting
Zero to three years accounting experience
General-ledger accounting skills preferred
Experience with tax filings – e.g. sales tax, real estate tax, personal property tax, income tax
Strong communication skills are mandatory
Experience in real-estate or multi-unit-businesses is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions
Strong attention to detail, flexible and reliable
Ability to meet deadlines
Willing to embrace change in a growing business
Travel: Limited travel determined by needs of business
Compensation rage: $52,500 – $67,500
FLSA Status: Exempt

As an iStorage Self Storage Property Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day store operations including:
Insurance and retail sales
Providing EXCEPTIONAL customer service
Ability to work unsupervised
Basic computer knowledge a plus
Valid driver’s license and reliable insured transportation
Ability to multitask
Available to work Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturdays 9am–5pm
Rotating days off
Up to 40 hours per week
Ability to work in outside environments
Some light physical activities
Cash handling experience required
Experience in sales and marketing a plus
Collections and delinquent accounts management
