TRISTAR is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II for our upcoming government customer in Crane, IN

Position Description:

• Work alongside and support government engineers in the design and development of automated RF test set architectures
  Evaluate mechanical requirements, develop requirements is necessary, and complete technical data drawing packages
• Documentation shall be adequate to maintain configuration control of equipment, hardware configurations, electrical configurations, and parts lists

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop technical data packages for multi-functional test station
• Design test fixtures capable of heating and cooling item under test
• Use 3D printers to develop models
• Design test systems to accommodate high current switching devices, coolant flow, digital interfaces, and RF signals
• Document testing process to ensure sustainability and compliance

Position Requirements:

• Three years experience
• Knowledge/Skills in drafting software
• Knowledge in functionality of failure analysis software
• Must be a US Citizen
• An Active Secret Clearance is required or be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret or higher, interim may be required before starting

Education and Certification:

• Bachelor's level degree in Mechanical Engineering
