Job DescriptionThe Strategic Account Manager is responsible for maintaining an existing book of dental and vision business in Middle Market. They will need to develop stronginternal and external relationships to achieve success.Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements - Meets retention and profitability objectives for anassigned book of business. - Delivers organized, polished utilization and industrypresentations which provide strategic insight and allows for recommendations to meet the client's long term business goals. - Evaluates client's dental/vision plans to ensure client'sneeds are being met while showing the value of stayingwith Aetna products.- Partners with underwriting to meet the clients strategicand financial goals so ensure a successful renewal whilemaintaining territory retention and profitability objectives.- Identifies and capitalizes on emerging trends in themarketplace as the Subject Matter Expert on dental andvision for clients, consultants/ brokers and account teams- Develops a mutually rewarding working relationship withclients, account teams, underwriting and consultants/brokers to ensure client retention. - Shares relevant industry and competitive data within andacross business units and segments to support thedevelopment of new product initiatives. - Communicates high level client retention status tomanagement and is knowledgeable about the risk statusfor all groups in the book of business- Collaborates with team members on case installation,ensuring a smooth transition from sales to accountmanagement.*Qualified candidate must be located in the Northeast part of the country, preferably in CT or PA.Required Qualifications- 3-5 years of Account Management experience. - Demonstrated examples of owning/ managing complex customer relationships. - Ability to respond to marketplace trends. - Ability to develop strategies that drive the business. - Insurance license, as required by state lawCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
