At Black Box the 5G Technology Solutions Account Manager is the catalyst behind our success as a leader in 5G and CBRS Technology delivering advanced solutions directly to the Enterprise customer. Experience in Healthcare, Financial Services, Manufacturing or other large venue markets focusing on IT/Applications/Networking/Software is required. As a consultative sales professional, the 5G Technology Solutions Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and bringing in new business from prospects and current customers. 5G Technology Solutions Account Managers help solve the business needs and objectives of our customers by aligning those needs and objectives with Black Box 5G and CBRS Solutions.


Location: Southeast Territory : GA, FL, NC,

  • Account Managers are responsible for coordinating resources and managing the sales campaign across the entire opportunity pipeline.
  • Managing a complex, long term solution sale from prospecting through closing.
  • Understand the buyer's purchase journey and align sales tools and resources to that journey and time line.
  • Develop Budgetary/ROM quotes and final proposals for delivery to customers and prospects.
  • Understand and present alternative financial models designed to enable new buyer consumption models.
  • Interface with ecosystem partners in support of new business development.
  • Develop RFP responses for delivery to customers and prospects.
  • Enter customer and prospect information, sales process updates and forecast information into the CRM system.
  • Understand all levels of pipeline management metrics with a focus on forecast accuracy.
  • Attend regional and national industry events as required.
  • Coordinate with sales support, operations, finance and administration personnel to execute responsibilities.
  • Manage all aspects of the company's sales efforts within the territory.

  • Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years' experience direct wireless sales/solutions selling or relevant experience
  • Healthcare Industry or Hospital, Financial Services, Manufacturing and other large venue sales experience required
  • Experience in managing all aspects of the sales process
  • Ability to effectively interface with C level executives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with CRM systems (SFDC preferred)
  • Excellent objection handling and negotiating abilities
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work alongside multiple team members
  • Proven record of meeting/exceeding established goals
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple streams of work simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate and present to Black Box management as required
  • Understanding of DAS/5G/CBRS, Networking and Wireless LAN technologies a plus.
