The Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the projects assigned which are normally on the lower to mid-sized projects in terms of revenue value and complexity.

The Infrastructure Project Manager has ultimate accountability for maximizing the value delivered by your teams for your client. the successful delivery of assigned projects, where success is defined as delivering value to the customer/client on schedule, on budget, within the approved scope, and with a high degree of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Executes PMO standards, processes, and methodologies in a consistent manner for project planning and execution activities including the following fundamentals: initiating, planning, estimating, resourcing, scheduling, and budgeting to take the current state into the future state.
  • Project management of overlapping client sites including:
    • audits/documentation
    • design, assembly, and logistics of servers and gateways
    • training, deployment, and post-delivery support
  • Communicate the project plan for each site to Customer and program teams
  • Define deployment teams based on skill sets, logistics, and program dependencies
  • Provide progress reporting as defined each site's project plan per the Program's Governance Model
    • Conducts recurring customer reviews addressing scope, schedules, issues, actions, risks, and customer expectations.
  • Develop & execute each site's schedule and manage the communication with Customers and each site's point of contact
  • Participate in change management meetings
  • Risk identification and associated mitigation planning
  • Will be responsible to lead and manage matrixed project team
  • Coordinates the setup of overall project governance (e.g. project org charts; roles & responsibilities, RACI charts, communication/stakeholder management) required for each assigned project.
  • Manages execution of the project:
    • Acts as primary customer contact for the project. Clearly articulate design, installation, and operational concepts and solutions to customers and technicians.
    • Prepares for and presents at appropriate project steering committee meetings
    • Works with Procurement to ensure material is delivered on time.
    • Manages installation.
    • Transitions project to Day 2 support team after project completion.
  • Manages project control fundamentals: monitoring and anticipating potential problems; identifying project conflicts; taking corrective action; resolving issues; managing scope, schedule, cost, profit, and budget; project reporting; and quality review and assurance.
  • Manages revenue forecasting and tracking for assigned projects.
  • Reviews SOWs and pricing tools during pre-sales.
  • Experience with Voice migration projects would be a plus

Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field, or equivalent, relevant experience; Master's Degree preferred.

Other Qualifications, Skills & Certifications
  • Experience with Voice migration projects
  • PMP, Six Sigma, Agile, SCRUM or related certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years Infrastructure Project Management including direct management experience with a track record of increasing Project Management Office responsibilities within the technology services industry.
  • Excellent facilitation skills, ability to pull a diverse group of individuals with different goals together and facilitate productive discussions
  • Excellent leadership skills; ability to drive and motivate the team to achieve results; ability to influence and inspire action through strong decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying talent and building individual and management capability; proven track record of building successful organizations.
  • End-to-end process thinker, with proven experience in leading change within an organization and understands how change affects employees, and utilizes strategies to reduce risk to the organization.
  • Strong experience handling employee issues and making sound judgment decisions in this area.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, SharePoint, MS Project, PPM tools, ERP, Smart Sheet, Salesforce.com, workforce management, and cloud-based technology systems.
