Provide team operations/administrative support and Risk, Issue, and Opportunity management for a major Department of Defense Weapons Acquisition Program. This position does not require a technical degree, but does require working with engineers/program managers and the ability to understand technical concepts.
The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working in a very dynamic, fast-paced classified environment. The candidate will work closely with Program Managers, IPT Leads and Engineers on daily inner workings of the team, with a strong focus on Risk Management. The successful candidate must be familiar with Risk and Opportunity management best practices, Integrated Master Schedules, and general NAVAIR weapons systems acquisition programs and practices. The ability to prepare concise and targeted briefing content and deliver "to the point" presentations to decision makers is a must.
Participate in and assist in coordination of technical interchange meetings and program management reviews
Assist Team Leads and Managers in identifying and quantifying risks and opportunities to Program cost, schedule and performance and develop mitigation and capture strategies
Work with Master Scheduler to capture, coordinate, and track mitigation and capture plans in the Program Integrated Master Schedule
Prepare Risk Management Board materials and facilitate Board meetings
Assist with preparation of executive-level briefing materials conveying program status
Schedule meetings across multiple teams and coordinate locations, to include scheduling conference rooms and ensuring accommodations meet requirements
Submit visit requests and access requests
Provide security assistance for program leadership
MINIMUM TANGIBLE REQUIREMENTS:
Must have 5 years of experience supporting DoN Program Management, to include performing Operations, Administrative and Risk Management functions in support of a NAVAIR Acquisition Program
Associates Degree in Business related area
Active Top Secret clearance; Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or Periodic Reinvestigation (PR) completed within the last six years
