Provide support to the OPNAV N98, Aircraft Survivability Equipment Systems Resource Officer and support Advanced Tactical Aircraft Protection Systems.

  • Serve as a primary liaison between the PMA and N98 Resource Sponsor
  • Take direct tasking from N98 resource sponsor with coordination with PMA IPTs/Level is
  • Collect and analyze Program Office Program Data to support POM build
  • Utilize critical thinking to determine optimized Program execution and future EW requirements
  • Local trips to the NAS Patuxent River, MD will be required 2-3 times a month


  • BS/BA in a technical, business, or management field or equivalent experience. A BS/BA can be substituted with 4 additional years of related experience and an AA or AS degree. Or an additional 8 years of related experience.
  • 4 years of business/management/development/ integration experience with aircraft, weapons, and/or operations with 2 of those years occurring within the last 5 years. Appropriate educational background may be substituted for experience.
  • Understanding and the ability to execute tasks associated with NAVAIR’s Acquisition process
  • Performs critical program management Analysis of PMA EW Programs of Records (PORs). Provides program analysis support for PMA Leadership, Integrated Program Team (IPT) Leads and the OPNAV Aircraft Survivability equipment (ASE) N98 Resource Sponsor (RO).
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules. Develops Capability Gap analysis metrics and supports the development of PMA Program Objective Memorandum (PM) documentation for annual submittal thru OPNAV.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Knowledge and application of critical thinking to solve problems
  • Proficient with MS Office products
  • Self-sufficient, motivated, and proactive
  • Ability to work independently with little guidance
  • Up to 10% travel may be required
  • Active SECRET clearance with the ability to gain a TOP SECRET clearance
