As Auto Ramp Services Manager, you would be responsible for the operations of Auto Ramp Services at PTI location(s) assigned to you. All unloaders and checkpoint personnel would report directly to the location manager.
Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding qualified personnel
Training and educating all employees on safety requirements, company procedures, etc.
Ensuring that policies and procedures set forth by the company and our customer are followed
Coordinating the day-to-day activities of unloaders and checkpoint personnel (scheduling, working with trucking companies, etc.)
Monitoring and assisting with the performance of your unloaders, actively taking part in the unload processes
Monitoring and making sure checkpoint follows procedure for inventory control (scanning out loaded inventory)
Maintain the lines of communication between the company and our railroad customers
Being responsive to the needs of our customer while the schedule varies from day to day to ensure compliance
Promoting and practicing safety awareness
Daily reporting and communication with the customer
Ensure prompt and regular attendance.
Perform other appropriate duties as may be assigned by Management.
Travel as business needs may require.

NO Security Clearance
High school diploma/equivalent is minimally required.
Management experience of multiple individuals
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies:
Must be able to maintain eRail certification credentials as required by the railroad.
Must possess and continuously maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with a variety of individuals.
Required job duties are performed in all outdoor conditions including (rain, snow, ice, heat, wind, cold, etc.).
May need to travel throughout the yard/facility by walking or driving
Physically demanding position and due to the nature of the environment.
Must be able to see and hear fast moving equipment.
