Concordance Healthcare Solutions has a job opening for a Vice President ( VP), Sourcing & Inventoryin any concordance location/remote . The VP will have full responsibility for our Sourcing and Inventory performance across our Global Supply Chain. This newly created role will be responsible for the development and strategy of inventory management, private label creation, purchasing execution and supplier relations. The VP will develop our transformational road map for ensuring we develop a more flexible and resilient Supply Chain and then be responsible for executing against that road map. Will collaboration with internal stakeholders from initial need identification to final product or service delivery. This role will have a team of direct reports set to cover each of the main business units (Sourcing, Inventory and Supplier Relations). This position reports directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities include leading procurement efforts to efficiently and effectively enable business units and functional partners to maximize the value they receive from suppliers to meet their objectives.
What You Will Do:
Build and lead a central team of individuals dedicated to improving both our Service and our Inventory metrics while ensuring we have a robust and Global Supply Assurance plan developed and in place. Critical to attract, hire and develop strong talent into this new central organization.
Develop and Implement the inventory management, purchasing, supplier relations and sourcing strategy for the organization, in alignment with the overall corporate strategy.
Develop detailed processes applicable to all regions to build strong Supply Assurance practices. These best practices are critical for building overall Supply Chain flexibility and resiliency going forward. This team is designed to ensure we get through disruptions by protecting our business and customers in the best possible way.
Successful implementation and launch of a private label.
Overall responsibility for setting our annual targets for both Inventory and Service. Our global inventory target is a critical component to meeting our free cash flow target annually and the leader will be globally responsible for supporting setting this target and having an action plan in place to meet the target. Additionally, we have a Service target set annually that is agreed with our CEO. This individual is responsible for setting this Service target and driving the actions to deliver against it.

What You Will Need to be Successful:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration or related field.
12 years of strong progressive management experience in sourcing or supply chain operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Healthcare Supply Chain experience preferred.
Experience on or working with executive leadership teams.
Ability to motivate, lead and develop a large cross-functional team.
Experience managing a large P&L/ Budget and detailed knowledge of financial planning, P&L analysis, and margin improvement.
Product Development/Go to market strategy preferred.
Strong history of managing external providers and developing Supplier Relationship models.
Decision-making and ability to drive strategic direction.
Ability to build collaborative relationships.
Proven negotiating skills with very strong Leadership experience.
An agile individual who can take on many different responsibilities as necessary.
Experience leading teams within Supply Chain and also able to show experience leading cross functional initiatives.
Able to work collaboratively with other leaders to drive actions and be able to influence others who do not have a direct reporting line.
Advanced in continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
Strong understanding of financial measurements and business acumen.
Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check and drug screening.
