Position Overview:

If you are passionate about using data and analytics to drive strategic decision-making to help disrupt and improve an industry, then this is the role for you! The Business Intelligence Analyst supports the core functions of the company and will gather, analyze, and compile data needed to identify trends and patterns, then make recommendations for business actions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing reports, dashboards, and visualizations that drive results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBITLIES include the following and all other duties assigned:

  • Collaborates with various operational teams in decision-making regarding the long-term talent strategy
  • Gathers business intelligence from a variety of sources including company data, industry and field reports, public information, or purchased sources.
  • Successfully analyzes trends, actuals to budget, and workforce forecast needs.
  • Recognizes strategic workforce skill requirements, identifies where critical skill gaps might exist, and understands plans to close them in partnership with various stakeholders
  • Can translate business problems to quantifiable data solutions as it relates to the workforce and our talent
  • Builds and owns data models to predict workforce headcount gaps and needs
  • Compiles business intelligence or trends to support actionable recommendations.
  • Summarizes financial and economic data reports for review by executives, managers, clients, and stakeholders. Effectively presents relevant data-based recommendations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 4 years experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or relevant experience
  • Experience in (Big 4 or small company) consulting preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Computer and Information Science preferred
  • Experience with data reporting tools such as Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, etc.


QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Google Suite or related software.
  • Ability to collect and compile relevant data.
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically.
  • Strong business acumen, verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated technical leadership.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Thorough understanding of the company’s business processes and the industry at large.
  • Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools.
