The position:
AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and talented Information Management and Technology Analyst to support . This position is classified as AMEWAS labor category Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation.

A typical day as an talented Information Management and Technology Analyst may include:

  • Work directly with leadership and cross-functional teams to understand their specific Confluences and JIRA needs and provide solutions.
  • Develop and maintain custom JQL filters, boards, dashboards, etc
  • Understanding of how to developing JQL queries
  • Manage User access & permissions
  • Design, track and ensure adherence to guard rails for data quality
  • Knowledge and experience in implementing plug-ins
  • Troubleshoot, remediate and resolve JIRA issues reported by users
  • Responsible for Confluence and JIRA training and support teams and stakeholders in setup and using Confluence and JIRA.


Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Experience administering, developing and supporting Atlassian (Confluence, Jira, Big Picture, advanced roadmaps.).
  • Experience gathering requirements for business processes and determining ways to optimize/improve JIRA setup and workflows as well as identify where functionality can and cannot meet user requests.
  • Experience creating documentation such as user guides and software development guides
  • Experience creating standardize "schemes” screens, fields queries, reports and dashboards, architect roles and permissions structures.
  • Ability to create custom web hooks and build integrations in other systems.
  • Experience with Confluence and JIRA plugin integration and configuration.


Must-haves:

  • Knowledge and experience in developing and maintaining workflows with multiple conditions as well as post-transition actions
  • Knowledge and experience in managing Confluence spaces & pages
  • Experience in building excel reports using macros and reporting to leadership & stakeholder teams
  • Fast learner and able to deliver based on goals
  • Good Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • DoD Secret security clearance

Physical environment and working conditions:
The physical environment requires the employee to work in an office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.  Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.

The employee may be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.  In some occasions, the employee may be required to report to offices or buildings near the work site.  In rare occasions, overnight travel may be required.
