POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We play a key role through the design, development, test, and implementation of M&S V&V solutions. They will work closely with government and industry M&S engineers, developers and analysts to provide relevant M&S V&V solutions that support warfighting capability assessments and engineering requirements. The candidate will provide customer offices with support in the following technical areas:  

  • Development of M&S V&V technical methods Instrumentation of M&S systems  
  • M&S solutions architecture Instantiation of domain specific M&S solutions  
  • Simulation tool-set operation  
  • Analysis of simulation results Data visualization methods and tools 
  • Technical report writing Research of relevant combat system capabilities, characteristics and operational use 
  • Prep and delivery of customer briefings 
  • Support of customer and company engineering, management, and administrative processes 
  • Participation in various Integrated Product Teams and Working Groups

Job Requirements

MINIMUM TANGIBLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics or other technical field 
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience developing M&S solutions at the code implementation level (may include applied academic work on project team or capstone) 
  • 1-3 years of hands-on data analytics experience (may include applied academic work on project team or capstone) 
  • Excellent programming skills in MATLAB® and at least one other language 
  • Rapidly understands new concepts, and applies them accurately and creatively Ability to create compelling, coherent briefing products; excellent technical writing skills Inquisitive and entrepreneurial mindset 
  • Works comfortably in evolving and complex environments 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
