SHIPPING & RECEIVING FOREMAN Houston, TX

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely utilize a forklift to transport, load, and unload materials
• Move product to storage areas; place and stack material according to company guidelines
• Identify and label materials, to assist in maintaining accurate inventory
• Maintain records of materials using a scanner 
• Communicate with staff and management team to identify material needs
• Must learn and adhere to all manufacturing policies and practices to ensure consistent production
• Displays ability to exhibit dependable behavior regarding company policies and practices (i.e. attendance)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred
• Must be Bi-lingual 
• Experience operating forklift
• Ability to prioritize a diverse set of tasks and projects to meet deadlines and quality expectations
• Capable of maintaining an organized work area
• Must be self-motivated and proactive
• Must be able to work well in a team environment 
• Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and work independently 
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
