This position is accountable for performing specific work related to quality assurance and data analysis at BasX Solutions. The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for tracking and analyzing quality performance of the various quality assurance processes including non-conforming material and corrective/preventative actions; compiling quality metrics for monthly reporting and management reviews; working with production in addressing quality questions/problems providing recommendations and establishing/monitoring corrective actions; coordinating and performing internal audits per established schedule to evaluate our quality system compliance. The Quality Engineering Analyst will also develop, review, and revise quality system procedures as necessary; coordinates training schedules for quality programs and ensures compliance of inspector training records.
- Analyze data to identify and implement corrective actions to eliminate root causes.
- Support compliance to the Quality System with emphasis on corrective actions, non-conforming material, and reporting.
- Analyze quality records, and then work with various departments on continuous improvement activities.
- Participate in problem solving teams and apply statistical and other problem-solving tools.
- Apply problem solving techniques and cross functional activities to resolve significant problems.
- Develop root cause analysis procedures to resolve quality issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Track defects by developing and maintaining charts and reports for management review.
- Evaluate production processes for compliance with quality requirements to drive continuous improvement activities.
- Assist in development of audit plans, audit schedules.
- Participate in quality audits (and lead a team of quality auditors, when needed)
- Pay is 72-80k DOE
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in fast paced custom build manufacturing environment in a quality capacity preferred.
- Prior Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Track record of making improvement changes.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Standards, including implementation (e.g., ISO 9001-2015).
- ASQ Certified Quality Process Analyst (CQPA) or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Preferred
- ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) Preferred
