TRISTAR is seeking several Sr. Computer Engineer for our government customer in Crane, IN
Position Description:
- Provides comprehensive analysis to support the development, application, and advocacy of advanced concepts, technologies, and processes for force level electromagnetic warfare (EW) mission capabilities to support joint and naval kinetic and non-kinetic operations delivering lethal and non-lethal effects in the air, surface, ground, space and cyber domains of the electromagnetic spectrum
Position Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive analysis foundation that supports the conceptualization of current and emerging EW technological and operational capabilities that provide resilient and reconfigurable autonomous operations, distributed netted sensors, assured command and control and integrated kinetic and non-kinetic fires in support of distributed operations and concepts
- Analytical modeling and simulation of the EW mission effectiveness required to assess the aforementioned domains of EW, encompassing all aspects of warfare, to include cyber warfare and information warfare, to assure dominance within the electromagnetic spectrum operational environment
- Comprehensive analysis to identify the capabilities and limitations of EW capabilities in meeting national and modernization objectives
- Conducts special studies to evaluate the effects of modifying force structure, mission effectiveness, target selection, tactics, techniques and procedures, concept of operation (CONOPS) development, and science and technology guidance
- Assistance in developing requirements and options for future forces, analyzing variations in threat scenarios and impacts of technologies, evaluating disruptive innovation, and assessing comparative cost and operational effectiveness for forces, warfare mission areas, complex system-of-systems, and resilient and advanced countermeasures within the Joint and Naval EW environments
- Collaborates with other agencies to support mission engineering, analysis and spectrum management, as applicable
Position Requirements:
- 8 years relevant technical experience
- Must be a US Citizen
- An Active Secret Clearance is required or be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret or higher, interim may be required before starting
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering
