Crossroads is searching for a Human Resources Manager for one of its clients.
Basic Function of the Position:
This position is responsible for providing Human Resources expertise to the organization by partnering with all levels of staff in support of building and scaling of a high performing corporate culture. This role will broadly contribute to the department’s impact as needed, while specializing in staff talent development-related activities, including but not limited to, onboarding, learning and
development, goal-setting, and performance management (process and technology platform). The incumbent will play a key role in defining and implementing career growth opportunities (formally and informally) for staff through job design, career paths,
and contributions to department and organizational structure initiatives, in partnership with the Sr. Director, Human Resources and other organizational leaders. Additionally, the position is expected to contribute to ensuring training and employment related
compliance/reporting obligations are identified and met.
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
-Enhances learning and development at client by collaborating with leaders to identify learning and development needs, create and facilitate programs, and/or engage external partners to address organizational needs.
-Oversees and executes performance management processes, including performance appraisal, goal scoring, and goal setting process to ensure alignment with organizational philosophy.
-Oversees the coordination and execution of a successful onboarding program reflective of industry best practices.
-Partners with Sr. Director, HR on employee relations matters. Provides guidance and documentation as necessary and coaches managers on performance management and disciplinary processes.
-Ensures compliance with Federal, state and local regulatory standards governing employment practices.
-Oversees coordination and content accuracy of HR information on client's intranet, setting and enforcing standards for updates.
-Establishes and monitors metrics to ensure talent development efforts and results are efficiently and effectively meeting the needs of the organization.
-Assists with employee events and initiatives, helping to ensure a best-in-class employee experience and culture.
-Serves as a leader in the HR team, supporting the vision and mission of the
department.
Work Experience:
-At least 5-7 years’ prior relevant experience, with a focus on development and roll-out of employee training and development programs.
