Duties:
The Vice President of Operations will oversee all aspects of facilities management,
including construction, renovations, maintenance, capital projects, and departments
such as food service, janitorial, maintenance and Landmark Property Management. The
VP of Operations will assist in planning options to implement leadership goals and
objectives. This role will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of
construction projects, maintaining efficient and well-managed facilities, and overseeing
ongoing renovations across the agency.
As this position is considered “Essential Personnel” you may be required at times to
work weekends and holidays. Ability to operate a computer, typewriter, copier, fax and
telephone as well as power tools and grounds equipment. Employee must possess a
valid driver’s license in good standing and the ability to drive an agency vehicle. Must
possess extensive knowledge of local, state and federal codes. Strong skills and
knowledge in carpentry, electrical, standard tools, equipment, materials and methods
involved in maintenance and repair, including HVAC, plumbing and painting. Broad
network and relationships of General Contractors, Vendors, Consultants, and
Developers across the county. Experience with managing facility assessments,
including preparation. Must be familiar with facility management software that monitors
assets and forecasts maintenance needs, including budgeting and depreciation. Strong
leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve company objectives in a fast-paced, high-
growth environment. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Proven
track record of managing many projects simultaneously, managing and driving cost
efficiencies, and ensuring projects achieve schedules. Familiarity with all relevant
building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements. Proven track record of
managing existing portfolios, capex allocations, renovations, and rollouts that achieve
business objectives and deliver strong ROI. Proficiency in project management software
and other relevant tools. Must possess extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal
codes, including BOCA, OSHA, and NFPA
Hours:
This is a full time position, which includes the following benefits:
3.2 weeks of PTO in first year

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, business, or other related
discipline required. Twelve to fifteen years of significant operations experience is
required, with at least five years of executive-level experience. Trade certifications are
preferred.
