Job Description
1 A Defense is a contracted distributor to the DLA (Defense Logistics Agency).
We have a military government contract representing two medical supply manufacturers currently and are in the process of onboarding more manufacturer/products.
We have specific line items available for Military Treatment Facilities (ie, Jacksonville Naval Hospital) and VAs to purchase via a platform called ECAT. We currently sell anesthesiology equipment (specifically laryngoscopes) and sterile processing trays.
The job requires personal contact to create awareness to military personnel that these products are available to be acquired via contract.
The job description includes:
- Phone Marketing
- Identifying and calling on and confirming anesthesiology, sterile processing and logistics personnel at military treatment facilities and clinics thru company resources provided
- Contacting personnel via phone and email using Salesforce, confirming contact information and updating facility information in Salesforce
- Informing personnel regarding the products that are available via ECAT contract via phone and email
- Recording in Salesforce the personnel info, results of contact, actions and results. *phone scripts, copy and template emails are all provided
- Assist owner in drafting Linked In marketing posts post sale
