$81,313.00

Maximum Hiring Annual Salary:

$85,378.65

To attain the maximum annual salary, employee must meet all minimum qualifications plus:

• 5 (five) years of additional applicable work experience and/or degrees higher than minimum qualification degree. Degrees higher than the minimum qualification degree can be used in combination with additional work experience.

The stated salary amounts are not guaranteed in the event employment ends with Aims during any fiscal year.

Job Description:

The ERP Administrator position reports to the Executive Director of ERP

Administration Services. The position performs a wide range of complex, specialized professional duties in support of the entire Workday ERP/SIS technology ecosystem. Responsibilities include: developing, documenting and maintaining integrations within and between ERP, SIS, CRM, and LMS systems, and other systems; developing, documenting and maintaining security roles between systems to be assigned to users; developing reports in support of integrations, analyzing system and performance issues and mitigating their impact to the enterprise; scheduling automated jobs; providing tier III ERP technical support; communicating effectively, both formally and informally

Software Application Maintenance:

• Responds to requests for technical assistance.
• Consults with computer users to clarify requests and problems.
• Provides technical support to computer users.
• Writes documentation and provides instruction to computer users in the use of computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
• Makes recommendations for hardware and software purchases and installation.
• Consults with and advises computer users on assigned computer applications as well as other college software.

New Software Systems or Release Support:

• Perform analyses of user requirements relative to software system capabilities in order to meet end user requirements.
• Document modifications, customizations and maintenance requirements
• Design, install, and implement new software or releases according to existing Software Development Lifecycle procedure, beginning in the test environment, ensuring that operating parameters, end user expectations, and change management process are met prior to installation in the production environment.
• Converts designs and specifications into computer requirements, compiles code into programs, and corrects errors detected in the compile process.
• Creates test transactions and simulated operational situations; finds errors and processing problems, make corrections and re-test.
• Tracks code changes in Git or other version control system.
• Documents tested code and procedures per industry standards.
• Ensures all legal, policy, and procedural requirements are met to audit standards for security, privacy and all other standards.
• Document changes, updates or enhancements to software.
• Participates in all phases of data warehouse implementation.
• Identifies pertinent issues and prepares comprehensive design specifications for database design, testing, conversion, and implementation.
• Translates and documents the results of requirements gathering into a standard format to be used to create the appropriate Business Intelligence (BI) solution.
• Analyzes user data to determine business rules and creates data models.
• Works with end user to gather reporting requirements.
• Implements and supports Business Objects and other reporting applications.
• Develops strategies and updates the data warehouse in response to changes in reporting requirements.
• Applies industry standards to the technical architecture of a Business Intelligence solution.
• Troubleshoots data warehouse software.
• Develops and maintains tools to optimize data quality and access.
• Collaborates with users and negotiates to identify and develop additional data sources for the data warehouse consistent with business rules and customer needs.

Software Application Project Management:

• Act as project team leader working with other analysts on computer system/module.
• Perform analysis, design, coding, testing.
• Assign, organize, and review work of team members.
• Plan and prioritize project tasks.
• Provide progress reports.
• Assists in research and evaluation of the feasibility, compatibility, and performance of computer hardware and software, systems, network, and other equipment.
• Establish and maintain constructive and positive working relationships with all academic and staff departments at all campus locations.
• Establish and maintain constructive and appropriate relationships with all hardware, software, and professional and other network/Internet service providers.
• Develop and manage appropriate college practices and standards consistent with best practices and procedures in academics, database, enterprise software, Internet, and customer support industries.
• Remain current with respect to network and Internet technology developments, challenges, and services associated with campus, academic and business applications.
• Document project progress.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field, or other related field; plus, ​
• Three (3) years of related work experience in programming experience or other closely related experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Ability to troubleshoot integration related problems
• Ability to troubleshoot security related problems
• Possess excellent communication skills, ability to multitask and work in a collaborative team environment with a positive attitude; Commitment to service.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three (3) years experience with direct, hands-on experience with Workday Business Processes, system configuration, security, and implementation, experience developing new and modifying existing reports and integrations from Workday to internal and external systems, and experience with programming, database systems, and systems analysis work experience including demonstrated experience with complex solution delivery.

  • Workday Studio
  • Web Services
  • PICOF’s - change to Cloud Connectors

• Experience with SaaS applications and integrations using cloud ERP API tools and libraries, SOAP and RESTful Web services, ETL/ELT and iPaaS tools such as SnapLogic, etc.

• Demonstrated advanced knowledge, skills and abilities associated with system defect identification and resolution. Knowledge necessary to design, set up, operate and correct defects involving technology systems.

• Possess advanced knowledge of professional IT concepts and environments. In-depth knowledge of key areas of IT.

• Ability to learn new technical skills/services quickly through comprehensive research and analysis culminating in clear and concise documentation recommending and often implementing technology improvements for enterprise applications.

• Shell scripting skills (BASH, etc.)

• Experience implementing or upgrading an ERP.

• Experience with SSO technologies, especially Okta..

• Ability to effectively convey difficult technical concepts to a variety of audiences.

• Strong project management experience.
